What you will see along the way..
Monterosso al Mare: the northernmost village of the Cinque Terre, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the “new” side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel that connects the two. Monterosso is larger than the other towns and is the only one that offers beach services, making it the most visited of the Cinque Terre.
Vernazza: the smallest of the Cinque Terre villages, and commonly known as the most fascinating thanks to its beautiful marina and the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia which stands right on the water. Here you will also see the Torre del Belforte which sits above the harbour as a protective lighthouse for the small village.
Corniglia: lying 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north.
Manarola: located at the northern end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola is characterised by vineyard covered hillsides and is home to many wineries, producing exceptional wines, including a dessert wine called Sciacchetrà found only in this area.
Riomaggiore: with brightly coloured houses built vertically on the surrounding hills, Riomaggiore is the second largest of the five towns and is widely known for excellent diving spots off its coast in the marine protected area that stretches all along the Cinque Terre. Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore pedestrian path begins, leading to nearby Manarola.

Fun time, even with a bit of rain
Our captain, Sebastiano, was outstanding. Although we ran into a little rough weather, he made sure we all had a lot of fun as we made our way back from the furthest villages of Cinque Terre to the La Spezia port. His suggestions on where to stop for lunch, as well as a stop in Porto Venere, were spot on.

Amazing and fun!
This was one of our favorite things we did in our two weeks in Italy! Simone was very knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. He paused to let us jump out and swim in a cave (so cool!), and he offered to drop us off in any of the villages at the end of tour so we could keep exploring. The wine, focaccia, and pesto were delicious. Highly recommend! (Also if you're thinking about booking this, note that the price is cheaper per person with more people!)

Better by Sea than by land
Simone was great! To experience the cinque Terra by land is one thing- albeit incredible - but to experience from by the brilliant azule of the Mediterranean is yet completely another. Don’t walk… (or take a billion steps up) instead run to schedule your private tour with Simone!

Amazing experience! Best day of our trip
Simone was the most incredible captain and tour guide! My boyfriend and I had no problem finding him by the dock and we were greeted with fresh focaccia, pesto, and wine. Simone went through the history of each village, answering all of our questions while giving us time to relax and enjoy the beautiful sites. He took amazing photos of us throughout the cruise and we appreciated how easy going he was throughout the whole experience. Truly a one of a kind experience! The most perfect afternoon of our trip!

Great private boat tour of Cinque Terre
Great tour of the 5 villas. Communication was very clear leading up to the tour and everything was as promised. Our Captain Simone is from the region and gave good history about the area. Views were spectacular. Got to swim and check out the caves as well. Overall, an excellent tour.

How do i book a tour?
Book directly from our site, selecting your date and time, number of guests, and tour of your choice. Otherwise you can contact us via email and we can provide all the information regarding availability and pricing. Just let us know how many people are in your group and the dates you are interested in, and we’ll take care of the rest!
What happens in the case of bad weather or rough seas?
We will contact you a few days before your tour to touch base. In the case of bad weather or rough seas, we will see if it’s possible to reschedule the tour. If not, we will cancel the tour with no penalty with as much warning as possible.
How far in advance do i need to book my tour?
All of our reservations are booked on a first come, first served method so in order to ensure availability, we suggest you book as soon as you are certain of your travel plans.
What happens if i need to cancel my reservation?
- FREE CANCELLATION up to 48 hours prior to the tour. You will receive a full refund of the deposit paid online.
- All cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour will lose 100% of the deposit paid online.
- All no-shows will lose 100% of the deposit paid online.
- In the case that we must cancel the tour due to poor sea or weather conditions, you will receive a FULL REFUND of the deposit paid online.
Where do we meet the boat?
Our tours depart from the main pier in front of the Historic Center side of Monterosso. Upon confirmation, we will send a map showing the departure point. Contact us directly for more information.
Is there parking near where we meet the boat?
There are two public parking lots in Monterosso, however due to the very limited space in this small village, we strongly recommend arriving by train. If you have a car, you can park in either La Spezia or Levanto, and catch the train from there.
